Wonderful macro photo Kathy. It is a great shot. I am using a camera with a 70-210mm Macro lens hand held without flash and soon will use my AF extension tubes when they arrive. I will have to wait until spring arrives here in Chile, now is winter. I will be viewing your macro photos, so keep up the excellent work.

Thank you so much Thomas for your kind comment. Happy to know you enjoyed it. I too have been using extension tubes which worked out well for me. For Christmas I got a Nikon 105 macro, and like you, here in the southern US I am anxiously awaiting for the warmer weather we are now getting to stir up all those wonderful insects I've been waiting for. Thanks again for your kind comment. :)

Nice shot of this scary little critter. Tachinids deposit their eggs inside other arthropods, some of which they use for food. V!

Thanks so very much Byron. Aren't they creepy close up. Very interesting though. Your kind comment and vote is very much appreciated. :)
