Description
This old woodstove is at Freewoods Farms, a living history farm. Every year after the sugar cane has been processed using mules, the liquid from the cane is slow cooked in this old woodstove turning it into a thick, rich, sweet syrup.

Thanks so much for the kind comment and feedback Tessa. This is a wonderful living history farm. Last season I volunteered myself to strip the leaves from the sugar cane before the mules took over. It made for a fun afternoon and I'm sure I'll be going again this year. :)
