Description
Portrait of a Great White Egret. This egret has been affectionately named RADAR by photographers in the area. After the BP oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico, many birds in this area were fitted with tracking devices to keep track of how the oil spill was effecting them. However, Radar was a poor choice for this task as he never leaves. It doesn't migrate like many other birds. He is always here to pose for photographers.

Magnificent image Kathy! The details are amazing! v/f! You asked me what filter I used on my female wood duck. All it is is the oil paint filter in Photoshop.
