Thank you for visiting my website. I appreciate you stopping by to view my photography. I have been doing photography for many years starting in my early 20's with developing my own black and white film as well as my own prints. I now reside in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where the wildlife is abundant and never fails to amaze me. My passion is wildlife photography, however as you will see, I do not limit myself to wildlife and have a great respect for many areas of the fine arts. I especially enjoy photographing birds and I do hope you will enjoy viewing my photography as much as I enjoy doing it. All your comments and favorites are deeply appreciated. Relax, enjoy and stay awhile. Kathy :) My Images Do Not Belong To The...

Amazing shot and reflection
Diane Schuster
Oh goodness, wonderful image and reflection but best viewed from a little distance! v/f
Kathy Baccari replied:
Thank you so much for the kind comment and support Diane. Yes, it's a good idea to have some distance between you and one of these snakes. Used my 400mm. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks again so much. :)
David and Carol Kelly
Great capture but too close for me. Hope you used a long lens.
Kathy Baccari replied:
Thanks so very much David and Carole for the kind comment. My husband and I go to this place called Francis Biedler Forest that we learned about from the nature show, Wild Photo Adventure. It's a very old Cypress Swamp with a raised boardwalk that runs about 2 miles through it. I had to lay down on the boardwalk to get the right angle with a 400mm lens. Glad to know you enjoyed the photo. :)
