Description
Two dominate male American Alligators in competition for the females. When males are in competition for the females, they do something called Bellowing when they blow up their throats with air and the most incredible sound comes out of them. It is loud and the only way I can explain it is like the sound of a Lion Roaring at a deeper pitch. It is so amazing.

Bellowing? looks like he has a mouth full of grass and is not happy... but are they ever happy?
Kathy Baccari replied:
Yep Jeff, bellowing. The mouth full of grass was just a bonus. He was multitasking. He was indeed unhappy with another male trying to move in on his territory. He was also catching blue crab. Thanks for stopping by to comment. :)
